Holy shit... it's been almost a year since I've even written anything in this journal, much less submitted anything. Okay, so the good news is that I'm alive. Yay! The bad news is that I don't have anything new for you guys, thanks to the EVIL FANFIC BUNNIES. I've been saying for the past week or so that my muse needs a serious kick in the head in order to get her priorities straight- I think she's finally listening. Kinda sorta. I have a baby plot bunny for a later scene in Rock the Boat (wish I'd get one for a better freaking title!)... however. Yes, however... I've been re-reading the chapters up till now, and aside from the atrocious number of typos (particularly in the first chapter), they need *SERIOUS* reworking and rewriting. Desperately. It's to the point where I'm actually ashamed of having some of those chapters up... though they at least have the decency of getting better as they go, for the most part. The first one should be freaking BURNED so no one ever has to go through the pain of reading it ever again (or maybe I'm over-reacting). Also, I've changed a few names since then (Christina is now Kayla, for starters. And there's still the possibility of changing Jeremy's too... I've got a few ideas on that- up to and including Eythen, Lucas, Matthew, and Nathaniel. Luckily I still have a while before he comes into the picture so I have some time to think about it more). In other words... this is my very long winded way of telling you that if I have my way, several of the Rock the Boat chapters are going to get major facelifts in the near future. Some of them are safe because I still like them... 18 comes immediately to mind... but the rest of them are a different story. So just in case the one person who has me on watch wonders why all these chapters are reappearing... that's why. As long as I can get the damn muse to cooperate, that is...

Another note- I have recently acquired a livejournal account for the purpose of putting up any writing/ideas that I can come up with. There's not really anything on there... but I'm working on a few things at the moment, so hopefully that'll change soon. Like really soon. *kicks muse* The name is vfic83, if anyone's interested. Um... all fic on that site will have various warnings on them, particularly the fanfiction. Don't want anyone wandering into places they don't want to be!

I'm... going to shut the hell up now. Hopefully I'll be back soon with something of substance to show you guys!
